Literary Titan Interview: Talking Terra, Resilience, and What Comes Next

I’m excited to share that I was recently featured in an author interview with Literary Titan—a publication that has been incredibly supportive of the Terra series.

In the interview, we talked about the heart of my stories: found family, resilience in the face of loss, and the quiet, transformative moments that shape who we become. I also had the chance to reflect on Terra Lux, the evolution of Sev and Soren’s relationship, and what it’s been like to build a long-running, character-driven science-fiction universe.

One of my favorite parts of the conversation was discussing how the Terra books balance survival and hope—how even in harsh, unfamiliar worlds, connection and love persist. Writing these stories has always been about honoring emotional truth, and it meant a lot to explore that openly in this interview.

We also touched on what’s ahead. I shared a bit about continuing this universe beyond the original trilogy and leaning even more deeply into intimate, character-focused storytelling as the series grows.

If you’ve been following the Terra journey from the beginning—or if you’re just discovering it now—I hope you’ll enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at the world, the characters, and the creative process behind it all.
