For a long time, I was embarrassed to send people to my website—especially my blog. It didn’t reflect the vision I once had for myself, or the writer I knew I was becoming. So I avoided it. I kept my words scattered across platforms, never quite settling into a space that felt like home.
That’s changed.
With the recent renovation, I finally feel proud of my website again. It feels grounded, intentional, and welcoming—like a place where my work belongs. For the first time in years, I want readers to come here, linger here, and grow alongside these stories.
I’ve also integrated Mailchimp directly into the site, which means my newsletters will live here too. Everything—blog posts, updates, reflections, and book news—now flows through one space. That feels important. It feels honest.
This isn’t just a redesign. It’s a quiet reclaiming of my voice.
I also feel newly compelled to make connections—to observe the world more closely and let it influence me. I think that’s why, after nearly forty years without it, I’ve started journaling again. Why I’m using a planner. Why it feels exciting, rather than intimidating, to think about the future.
There is something grounding about paying attention. About noticing what moves you, what hurts, what heals. Chronic illness has a way of shrinking the world if you let it—but creativity asks you to keep looking outward, to keep engaging. Planning, for me, isn’t about pressure anymore. It’s about possibility.

The next book turns inward, focusing on Sev—on her search for peace, healing, and new beginnings. Book Five—the one I’m writing now—belongs to Soren. His story has always been there, waiting patiently, and it’s time to tell it.
