There’s something special about gathering around books.
On May 9th, I’ll be attending the Prattville Page Fest, hosted by Silent Book Club Prattville, and I’m truly looking forward to it. Events like this are a reminder that stories don’t just live on the page—they live in the connections we make because of them.
I’ll be there as an attending author, with my Terra series in hand, ready to meet readers, talk about writing, and share a bit of the journey behind the stories.
What I love most about events like this is the sense of community. Whether you’re a longtime reader, a fellow writer, or simply someone who enjoys the quiet comfort of a good book, there’s a place for you in spaces like these.
There’s something meaningful about sitting down with people who understand the value of story—who know what it is to get lost in a world, to carry characters with you, to find pieces of yourself in the pages of a book.
I’m grateful to be part of that.
If you’re nearby, I would love for you to stop in, say hello, and spend a little time among books and good company.

There’s always a bit of anticipation before an event like this—packing books, preparing, wondering who you’ll meet.
But more than anything, there’s excitement.
Because somewhere in that room will be conversations waiting to happen.
And that’s where the real stories begin.
